Renew Your Membership

Renewing your Girl Scout membership is the first step in continuing your journey! Each year in Girl Scouts opens the door to new adventures, unforgettable experiences and more opportunities to grow in a safe and supportive community. Plus, if you renew with USAGSO and find out you are moving, we will be happy to transfer your membership to a stateside council or another overseas community.

The Girl Scout membership year runs from October 1 to September 30. For the 2026-2027 membership year (beginning October 1, 2026), girl membership dues are $95 per year and adult membership dues are $30.

When you renew, please take a moment to update all household information.

How to Renew Yourself or Your Family toggle arrow

Log into MyGS. You’ll need the email address and password you used to sign up for Girl Scouts. If you need help accessing your account, reach out—we’re happy to help!
Once you’ve logged into your account, click/tap “My Household” in the lefthand menu.
Check the “Select All” boxes or indicate the girls and adults in your household who you’d like to renew.
- If you’re not returning to the same troop or volunteer role, check the “Not Returning” box next to the troops or roles you’re not continuing with this year.
- You can continue to renew without choosing a new troop. Contact us to connect with a new opportunity in your area.
Click “Add Renewal.”
Confirm that the details for your household members are correct. Then, choose the membership year and select your desired payment type.
- We do offer financial assistance for membership. Please reach out to us here with questions.
Review your cart, agree to the Girl Scout Promise and Law, and add the renewed memberships to your cart.
Enter your credit card information for payment and submit.
You’re done! Once your order is processed, you'll receive an email confirmation of your membership renewal(s).

How to Renew Your Troop toggle arrow

Log into MyGS. You’ll need the email address and password you used to sign up for Girl Scouts. If you need help accessing your account, reach out—we’re happy to help!
Once you’ve logged into your account, click/tap “My Troops” in the lefthand menu.
Check the “Select All” boxes or indicate the girls and adults in your troop(s) who you’d like to renew.
- If any of your troop members are renewing themselves, requesting financial assistance, or using program credits to renew, please uncheck their boxes.
- If a volunteer isn’t returning to their role in your troop, please uncheck their boxes.
- Check the “Not Returning” box next to any troop members who aren’t continuing with your troop this year.
Click “Add Renewal.”
Confirm that the contact information for each troop member is correct. Then, choose the membership year and select your desired payment type.
Review your cart, agree to the Girl Scout Promise and Law, and add the renewed memberships to your cart.
Enter your credit card information for payment and submit.
You’re done! Once your order is processed, you'll receive an email confirmation of your troop renewal(s).
