Make space for Girl Scouts to lead! As the world continues to become
more technology-driven and today's workforce looks to science,
technology, engineering and math (STEM) for new ideas and discoveries,
it is more important now than ever to harness the unique insights,
skills and potential of Girl Scouts. So, together with Amazon, we've
designed an adventure Girl Scouts of all ages are going to
love.
During an Amazon Fulfillment Center tour, Girl
Scout Brownies and older will see STEM put into action in the
workplace, get inspired and be eligible to earn a fun new patch!

Beyond the various patch programs offered through USAGSO, many overseas communities have created their own patch program to teach visiting Girl Scouts about their overseas community or as a Take Action community service project. Additionally, for many large overseas communities, patch programs have become a money earning activity as USAGSO girls and their stateside sisters complete these patches. Please remember, the patches are organized at the community level and our global team of volunteers help make these great resources available to girls all around the world**!

Patch Name: Exploring the Ruins of Campania
This patch can be earned by visiting the historic sites of Old Capua (Santa Maria Capua Vetere), Herculaneum, Ancient Pompeii, or Paestum. It can also be earned by visiting the National Archeological Museum of Naples, where many of the artifacts from Pompeii and Herculaneum are on display.

Patch Name: Via Appia Antica (Gaeta)
The small town of Minturno (Minturnae), Italy, near Gaeta, are the historic remnants of one of the earliest and strategically most important Roman roads of the ancient republic, stretching from Rome southeastern to the Italian coast at Brindisi. Patch Name: Mozzarella di Bufala
Mozzarella di Bufala (buffalo mozzarella) is a traditional Italian cheese made from the milk of the water buffalo. In Italy, it is produced under strict regulations and is mainly produced in the Campania, Paestum, and Foggia regions. There are farms around the Campania region that are open to tours.

Patch Name: D-Day 1944 Normandy
Thousands of American, British and Canadian soldiers landed on the beaches in Normandy on June 6, 1944 to free France and Europe from Nazi domination during World War II. Learn about the beaches and cliffs where so many soldiers lost their lives and become familiar with the numerous museums and memorial sites that explain the importance of the D-Day Landing.
