You can absolutely join Girl Scouts by yourself. This type of membership is known as an Individually Registered Girl Scout. Individually registered Girl Scouts are also known as Juliettes, named after our founder, Juliette Gordon Low. Juliettes choose how to participate based on their schedule and interests.
Joining as a Juliette is great for Girl Scouts without a troop available nearby or who want to enjoy Girl Scout programming with their family. They can get started right away by earning badges independently or attending events to meet other Girl Scouts in their area.
Find out more about the opportunities available to Juliettes in USAGSO's Juliette Guidebook!
GUIDEBOOKJuliette Connect is USAGSO’s quarterly newsletter created especially for Independently Registered Girl Scouts, otherwise know as our Juliettes! Each issue highlights inspiring Juliette stories, badge ideas, global opportunities and tips for making the most of your Girl Scout experience.
Whether you’re new or continuing your journey, Juliette Connect keeps you informed, inspired and connected to the worldwide Girl Scout sisterhood. Use this link to get started!
