Week-long Overnight Camp Opportunies in 2026:
Girl Scouts Love the Outdoors: Traditional Camp- Hakuba, Japan
June 15-19, 2026
Cost: Brownies & Juniors- $850; Cadettes, Seniors & Ambassadors- $950
The Japanese Alps are calling and we must go! Join us for this unforgettable camp high in the mountains.
Girl Scout Brownies will experience a traditional Girl Scout camp experience with a dash of outdoor adventure thrown in. Activities will include arts and crafts, hiking, tie dye, STEM, lake rafting and learning new Girl Scout traditions.
Girl Scout Juniors will experience a higher level of adventure with outdoor activities such as stand up paddleboarding, tree climbing, river tracing and canoeing.
Girl Scout Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors will spend two nights in the accommodation and two nights tent camping next to Aokiko Lake. Adventure activities will include a full day of rafting, mountain biking, canyoning and standup paddle boarding. Other fun activities at camp for all will include a Girl Scout campfire experience, traditional camp activities and a taiko drum circle.
Girl Scouts must be chaperoned by a parent/guardian or other designated adult to and from camp. Girl Scouts should be dropped off by Noon on Monday, June 15 and picked up by Noon on Friday, June 19.
*Please note: If not driving: There is one daily train (Azusa 5) that departs from Shinjuku station in Tokyo at 8 a.m. and arrives at Hakuba station at 11:40 a.m. The second and only train leaving the area (Azusa 38) will depart Hakuba station at 1:41 p.m. Please keep this in mind when relying on public transportation for arrival to and from camp.

Join us for another magial round of Camp USAGSO in Schmitten, Germany for this week-long traditional Girl Scout camp.
From Girl Scout Brownies to Ambassadors and CITs, girls will experience a variety of age-appropriate activities to keep them engaged and having fun all week long. From castle hikes, to camp fires, to traditional camp activities, girls will get the opportunity to experience what camp is truly like! The older girls have the special opportunity to challenge their minds and bodies on the high ropes course, while the younger girls will begin their climbing journey with bouldering. There's something for everyone at this camp!
Girl Scouts must be chaperoned by a parent/guardian or other designated adult to and from camp. Girl Scouts should be dropped off between 3-4 p.m. on Sunday, July 19 and picked up between 11 a.m.-Noon on Friday, July 24.
*Please note: CITs will arrive a day early, on July 18, at 2 p.m.
