Ready, set, POWER UP! USA Girl Scouts Overseas is excited to pilot our brand-new STEMinist Energy program in Stuttgart, Germany this fall.
Girl Scouts in and around Germany, join STEMinist host Erin Twamley for a day of hands-on adventure exploring the amazing world of energy!
In this three-hour, in-person STEMinist event, Girl Scouts will discover how energy powers our everyday lives - from campfires that roast our s’mores to the phones we charge and the lights that brighten the night. Through interactive activities and creative challenges, participants will explore different forms of energy and the science behind them.
Girl Scouts will rotate through exciting stations where they will:
⚡ Create a wearable circuit
☀️ Build and paint a take-home solar-powered car
💨 Experiment with sounds you can see
🏃♀️ Test the use of energy with an Energy Obstacle Course
🎵 Recharge with a bite-sized power snack and dance station
For $35, each Girl Scout will receive:
A wooden solar-powered car to take home
A wearable circuit to take home
The STEMinist fun patch and energy rocker
A snack during the event
And an energetic afternoon of discovery
