For 3+years, Girl Scouts around the world cooked along with home chefs over Zoom, making everything from Italian eggplant parmigiana to Korean kimchee. Now, Taste the World is coming to life off the Zoom screens and in person with this taste of Christmas in Germany.
During this session, Girl Scouts will experience a true German Christmas, exploring at least three markets in Cologne, sampling traditional treats such as kinder punch, lebkucken, schaumkuss, and more! Long-time Girl Scout volunteers and Germany experts, Ursula and Catherine, will lead the group on this culinary and cultural experience.
This event is open to Girl Scout Juniors through Ambassadors. The registration fee includes the Weihnachtsmark patch and market/city tour; it does not include any food, drinks, souveniers, etc.
