The Extended Year Membership (EY) is an option for new members and allows them to join at a prorated price of $35 for adults and $60 for youth**. Current members will not be able to take advantage of EYM, as their current membership already covers participation this summer.
This price includes membership for the remainder of the membership year 2024 and all the 2025 year. This option gives families a one-time incentive to start Girl Scouts in the spring and then continue participation into the fall for a troop experience. The EYM option is available from April 1, 2024, through July 31, 2024.

If you register with USAGSO and find out you are moving, we will be happy to transfer your membership to a stateside council or another overseas community.
**A Council Service Fee of $25 is applied to youth membership.
