GSO Adult Awards

Volunteer Awards

Every day, USAGSO volunteers help girls discover their full potential by providing opportunities that allow them to pursue their interests and passions, develop their own leadership style and skills, and build cross-cultural connections and relationships that last a lifetime. USA Girl Scouts Overseas cherishes our volunteers and recognizes the valuable contribution they make in developing girl leaders.

Do you know a volunteer who deserves recognition?

Girl Scout Volunteer Awards recognize those who provide exemplary service and go above and beyond the expectations of their position to make a difference for the organization and for girls. Download our Volunteer Awards Manual to get started!

Nominations for the Appreciation Pin, Honor Pin, Thanks Badge, and Thanks II Badge are open from 1 November 2018 – 15 January 2019. Volunteer of Excellence nominations are approved on the Overseas Committee level, year round.

Some Overseas Committees establish their own processes and deadlines for collecting, reviewing, and submitting all nominations from the local area to USAGSO. Please check with your Overseas Committee first! Then, if you have additional questions, contact us at overseasvolunteerawards@girlscouts.org
