Important Digital Cookie Inventory Update

Hello USAGSO Cookie Selling Communities –
Last night, we were informed of some unfortunate news. Little Brownie Bakers (LBB) notified GSUSA that they experienced severe weather this past weekend, which resulted in power outages at their factory and exacerbated their ongoing inventory challenges. LBB currently has enough inventory to continue offering only three cookie varieties for direct ship on Digital Cookie: Thin Mints, Adventurefuls, and S’mores for the remainder of the 2023 cookie season.
These limitations are only affecting Digital Cookie direct ship orders and beyond this, USA Girl Scouts Overseas (USAGSO) in-person sales are not affected by these changes from LBB. We understand this baker update and similar recent ones are extremely frustrating. Our girls have worked hard throughout the year to maximize their ability to sell cookies and earn money for their troops. We at USAGSO want to encourage you to continue supporting your girls as they make the best of an exceptionally challenging situation. While customers may not be able to purchase their favorite cookie online this year – perhaps they would like to donate cookies through the digital platform, to be sent to military services members through the USO? The connection Girl Scout Cookies provide to active military personnel serving overseas is something so many of our families can relate to!
Please know we truly appreciate all the hard work of our girls, volunteers, and families – and know we share your frustration. Together, we can give girls and communities tools to succeed amidst adversity – and through what already has been an extremely difficult cookie season.
