Calling all innovators and inventors, explorers and experimenters... It’s time to get curious, ask questions and problem-solve!

Join USA Girl Scouts Overseas and Dr. Harshini Mukundan for an enriching, hands-on exploration of microbiology, AKA germ science! Harshini grew up India but moved to the US when she was 22 years old. She studied a lot of science - biology in particular - and graduated with a Masters and PhD in Biological Sciences.

Today, she studies germs - like SARS COV2, the cause of the COVID-19 pandemic. Her science is focused on developing better methods to identify germs that infect our body so we may treat people better and save lives. She also loves sharing and teaching what she does to everyone who is interested in it!
