Calling all innovators and inventors, explorers and experimenters... It’s time to get curious, ask questions and problem-solve!

Join USA Girl Scouts Overseas and Paula Todd for an enriching, hands-on exploration of chemical engineering. As a chemical engineer, Paula knows that math and science are the answer to everything. With a deep desire to help people, she decided to study how to make medicines more effective. She has worked in manufacturing plants and labs, creating new patented molecules for medicines worldwide. Her strong STEM background has propelled her into a business leadership role at her company.

When she’s not helping create new medicines, Paula enjoys hanging out with her husband and 3 children, running with her dog, and traveling to new places. She was born in Brazil and moved to the U.S. at the age of 9 without knowing a word of English. Anything is possible with hard work! She wants girls to know that STEM is everywhere (even in their kitchens!) and that their voices and perspectives matter!
