CIT I Track

Mentor younger girls in a camp setting as you build skills toward becoming a camp counselor. Girls will complete a CIT Leadership course and basic life and outdoor skill course. After being assigned a CIT Mentor, Girl Scouts will then spend approximately 2-3 hours of each day leading a unit of girls in outdoor experiences. During the remainder of their camp day, CIT I Girl Scouts are led by a CIT Volunteer leader and will participate in camp activities.

CIT II Track (pre-requisite: CIT I Award)

CIT II Girl Scouts will complete a CIT Leadership refresher course while reviewing basic life and outdoor skills. Each CIT II Girl Scout will then be assigned to a program area (such as archery, hiking, art, and riding) and CIT II Mentor, who they will work with throughout the week to lead girls and develop skills in their specific program area.
