Please Note: Girls must be active and registered Girl Scouts to attend a USAGSO Resident (Camp Lachenwald & Camp Tama). This means that all girls must be and active member who is registered for the current 2020 Membership Year with Girl Scouts.

Payment, Deposit, & Cancellation Information

What is the fee to attend a USAGSO Resident Camp?
  • From now until April 15, 2020: 
  • DoD-Member Girl Scout: $500  
  • Non-DoD Member Girl Scout: $550  
  • CITs get a 50% discounts off camp fee

What does the program fee include?

Accommodations, meals, on and off-site activities, camp t-shirt, and patch.

Is there a deposit for camp?

Everyone is required to make a $50 deposit  for camp upon registration. 

How do I make a deposit and pay for camp? (How do I register for camp?)

Click here and complete the initial camp application for your camper. When you do this, you will be prompted to pay the deposit at the end of the process. You can also set up automatic monthly payment options at this time. You will be able to enter your camper’s health and personal information at your leisure in the following weeks with automatic email reminders from Camp Doc.

Are there payment plans available for camp?

Yes, you can set up automatic payments during the registration process. You can also come back and pay part of the balance in the week and months until camp. Camp Doc will send regular automatic emails to families as a reminder to pay the balance. The balance must be paid in full by: 

  • June 1, 2020 (Camp Tama)
  • July 15, 2020 (Camp Lachenwald)
Is financial assistance available?

USA Girl Scouts Overseas is committed to ensuring every girl has the opportunity to participate in camp. Although funds are limited, we strive to provide enough support so no girl is denied an outdoor experience due to lack of funds. What if I need to cancel?

If you need to cancel, please reach out to overseascustomercare@girlscouts.org and make sure to include ‘Tama Cancellation’ or ‘Lachenwald Cancellation’ in the subject line. Cancellations must be submitted to staff by May 15th, 2020 (Tama) or July 1, 2020 (Lachenwald) and include a qualifying circumstance for a refund (unexpected PCS, Sickness, Family Emergency, etc.).  

Do I have to be a member of USAGSO to attend a USAGSO Resident Camp?

No, you do not need to be a member of USAGSO to attend camp but you do need to be a Girl Scout. If you are not currently a member of Girl Scouts, becoming a member is easy. Visit the homepage of this website and click "Girls, Join Now" to become a registered Girl Scout Member.
