Spring Recruitment Grant

Fun

USA Girl Scouts Overseas is excited to announce a grant opportunity to Overseas Committee Management Teams and/or small communities to bring the Girl Scout Leadership Experience to more girl and adult members.

The spring recruitment grants will help communities recruit more girl and adult members, while continuing to provide innovative, high-quality Girl Scout experiences. Successful applications will incorporate key drivers in Girl Scouting – STEM, outdoor, life skills, entrepreneurship – and result in a growth in membership for a community.

Most grants will be awarded in the range of $50 - $500. However, USAGSO will take many issues into consideration, including scale of event and new member potential, and is willing to entertain grant applications outside of this range. Grant money will be paid out in two segments: the first payment will be issued two weeks after the application is approved. The second payment will be issued two weeks after the final report and receipts are received. If the total amount requested is not spent on the event, USAGSO will only reimburse up to the final cost of the event. Grants will be paid via PayPal to a registered member of the OCMT.
